Sweet Boy....

As of late Jason has been the sweetest... Everything between leaving me sweet notes in the morning when he leaves for school and I am still sleeping to making me dinner a couple nights a week. I haven't been feeling the best lately and when he sees something that needs doing he is on it! He has been cleaning the house, doing the laundry and the list goes on.  I don't love long posts about mushy love but I feel like I need to let the world know I married the best guy out there and I fall more in love with him everyday!

J making chicken tortilla soup
Seriously SOO good :)
One night Jase went to the "gym" and came home 20 minutes later with this! We made Smores and rice krispie treats... THEN did Jillian Micheal's SHRED!
For conference weekend we stayed in Orem and spent time in the new warm weather! We went on a picnic to a park close to our house between sessions on Saturday.
The other day Jason was making his protein shake for his post workout and forgot to snap the lid all the way on.... I feel like the picture explains it all :)
Going to school..
This week my parents were in town for a family wedding and my dad and J planted us our garden for this summer and I couldn't be happier about it!

Growing up we had a picture of my dad doing this exact pose in my Uncle Jack's home gym.. Mathis has made our garage into a home gym so when dad was in town he showed us all that he still has it after all of these years!

Jase and I have a big problem with waiting for holidays.. I opened my presents early on Christmas and a week before my birthday! So it didn't surprise me that we gave each other our Easter stuff today instead of tomorrow. While growing up my parents always made up riddles for us and left them on the kitchen counter on Easter morning... The riddle would lead you to our Easter baskets. My dad got pretty creative and I felt like I needed to keep on with the tradition and send Jason on a basket hunt! He found it within the first 5 minutes.... Not shocking at all though the kid is too smart for his own good!

Jase sent me on an Easter egg hunt in the house... Each egg had a clue to where the end prize which was my very first pair of RED toms!
